Girl Boss Part 1



I go to work at midnight five days a week till eight in the morning. I have a physical class I go to for three hours total for the week on Fundamental Oral Communication (COMM 111).
I also have three online classes Introduction to Philosophy (PHIL 201), Lifespan Development (PSY 250), and Introduction to Sociology (SOC101).
I came in and checked my e-mail. I just finished my days off for this week and it is usually the first thing I do. To my surprise I got a raise ( 2% due to cost of living expense).  This was a wonderful surprise and much needed as well.
I did not start my day healthy at work with a can of Pepsi.  But I was productive enough to work on my work and such and take time to read for some parts of my classes.
So for PHIL 201, I reviewed ‘’the arrangement of the incidents’’ such as Oedipus Rex [1].  Which fits Aristotle’s ideals on plots must be single whole from start to finish.
I will later today be watching to films for this class Blow up (1966) and Shutter Island (2010)
For SOC 101, I discussed the negative aspects of cultural hybridization. Issues with hybridization cultures cause things to be mass produced and collecting of materials and waste from non-reusable cups to causing small business to go under due to global companies taking over many societies. These things like fast food effect local economies, the environment, obesity and so forth.  A lot of food we eat are seen as a cuisine but actually have been Americanized such as Chinese buffets, taco bell and so forth [2]. Along with food we find small businesses such as Mom and Pop stores to shrink as major companies like Walmart, and other outlet shops expand. Even those physical stores are becoming less due to online shopping.
I also worked on my project for COMM 111: On mindfulness. It was our discussion at class for September 20, 2018. Along with intercultural dimensions, individualism-collectivism, power distance (High/Low Power Distances), Gender Expectation Dimension, High/Low context Culture, and mindlessness.  I also went over my third chapter on Adapting to Others.

My paper for COMM on Culture


I believe culture from the past still affect us now. If you look over the American or even global history many stereotypes we have are because of past such as minstrel shows.  Such as white actors in black face along with other make up to extradite the eyes and lips. Even when Black Americans became part of Minstrels they even had to use the black face paint due to the demand of white audience demanded. I believe this fits very well with our discussion from previous week on hegemony that our politics figures influence many of the culture of a nation.
This is even influence laws such as Jim Crow Laws. Jim Crow comes from Daddy Rice also known as Thomas Darthmouth Rice(White Actor) he made a huge influence on his acting and creating a character called Jim Crow during the nineteenth century.
These shows showed African American as childish dim and lazy. Even though as many forms of entertainment dies out or changes these stereotypes still hold on black and white cartoons, musical and so forth.
From Uncle Tom’s Cabin created by Harriet Beecher Stowe’s novel created many adaptions in theater to create different forms of the novel by the book and also changing it to fit pro-slavery ideals; which changed the name of the title for the show like ‘Happy Uncle Tom’. Their book showed the negative side of slavery that many people do not recognize or do not acknowledge during the nineteenth century.  Their book showed black slaves as people with relationships and emotions.
The shows that offer a pro-slavery take are often referred to as Tom Shows and often showed spectacles like circus’s or dancing.  Even the shows that was very close to the book still held stereotypes to appease the white audience.
On with these shows came a new melodrama ‘The Octoroon’.  This is a bout three main characters two are which are opposed each other due to wanting a woman named Zoe who is an octoroon (1/8th black) which makes marrying either one of them illegal. The rich man McCluskey wagers to buy her as he is wealthy. But is unable to due to the fact of being arrested for murder but he escapes and blows up a steamboat but is killed before able to purchase Zoe.  Zoe does not know this and kills herself in front of the other Character who fell in love with her.
Many people during that time hated the ending because most shows like this ended up with a ‘happy ending’ it is believed to possible two reason to appease those who dislike the idea of an interracial marriage or to show the injustice of slavery.  
So with this I also add on the fact we are still seeing stereotypes from this generation and even a new generation of where many shows such as ‘Adventure Time’ or’ The Legend Korra’ ended their series with either cliffhanger of a non-heterosexual relationship. Non-heterosexual relationships are often missed or not approve of by many societies and part of our own currently and this effects our culture. We are often left to creating fan theories or ‘shipping’ relationships we believe fit better and they may of. But due to the heterosexual relationships being the majority of what media’s view as acceptable we are left out of other forms of relationships. In this creating new stereotypes for non-heterosexual relationships and so forth.

Chakra 101 Part C

Subtle Energies in other beliefs systems and cultures.

Many Eastern practices understand the different forms of energy and how it works.

Such as a few examples:

Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture is believed to help and normalize energies in the body. So they balance out at.

In Chinese belief the energy that one received is absorbed from the environment through the body. Different areas on the body hold certain pain and energy. Which is used to heal through Acupuncture .
Another important area in Chinese Medicine is the balance which is often seen in the Yin Yang Symbol. Positive and Negative energy. The Body needs both to be balanced. Yin is seen as feminine  and Yang is seen as Masculine. This is also in practiced with their five elements of Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood.

Analytical Capacities


When we are about the age 14 years of age we start thinking about things in a philosophical sense. We start using our own thoughts as our own. We are less reliant on our parents and trying to define ourselves.
  • What really exist?
  • Can we really know anything?
  • Is anything right or wrong?
  • Does life have meaning?
  • Is death the end?

We can see that we look at things differently our nature can turn our basic understanding into puzzles.
Philosophy is different than science or mathematics.
Philosophy doesn’t rely on experiments or observation; but on thoughts.
There is no formal of how to think or how philosophy works. There is no proof.
Philosophy is done by:
  • Arguing
  • Trying out ideas
  • Thinking of ways to argue against them
  • Wondering how they really work
  • Asking questions


Main concern in philosophy to question and understand very common ideas; everyday thoughts.
Example:
Historian- What happens in the past?
Philosophers- What is time?

Empowerment is really about empowering people that you lead. Empowerment is really also about investing in your team. Each member on your team as a type of leader, its your job and responsibility to invest in their development and advancement. Empowerment also allows individual thinking..

Accountability is closely tied to employees feeling valued at work. When someone assigns you with a task they are holding you accountable- this allows people to feel invested and valued.

Courage is from inspiring trust. Trust is needed for courage. When we think courage we might assume a Gryffindor, fire fighter, Hercules, and so forth. Hero's come to mind. Courage is being able to show others who you are, what you follow, and so forth. They can be the outlier in a group.

Humility is about being humble. Being able to share your limits and weaknesses in a group.

Unconscious Biases are automatic associations we make of others. Based around upbringing, family, culture, society.
We do not control Unconscious Biases and most are unaware of it. They influence our behavior choices towards others.
Unconscious Biases is an equal opportunity offenders not just gender or certain countries everyone.
"We all have Unconscious Biases it doesn't make us bad, it makes us human."
Biases can be manage, we can be aware them.

Being an Other is something we all experience and many of us manage it by:

  • Coping
  • Managing 
  • Covered

Pain Management

Pain it is something we all experience. 
Many people have to create a method to cope with pain.

One way people learn to manage pain is by knowing they are not alone this also goes for mental illnesses too.
We all come through emotions from guilt, shame, anger and other negative emotions as we try to adapt or cope with our pain.

For the links below offer ways to quieting your mind down and listening to your pain.

Having compassion for yourself and your pain is a way to move forward.
“Meditative approaches to physical pain”
  • Releasing breath. When we are in pain, it’s common to hold our breath. We try to create a barrier between us and the pain with our breath. Shockley suggests a practice she calls “releasing breath” which involves first noticing how you are breathing, allowing your breath “to be a little freer and calmer”, and then notice how your pain level is affected by letting your breath move more freely through your body.
  • Loving the places that hurt. Ignoring your pain and battling against it are both generally not helpful - nor may they be possible. Shockley decided that instead she “would offer it softness, understanding, compassion and inclusion.” She suggests first checking in with your pain, noticing the shape and contour of it. Next, breath into your heart and feel the capacity for peace there. Using the energy from your heart, send loving kindness to your pain, “thank your body for its efforts to heal.” Practice being judgement free about your pain-even, or especially- when it feels difficult. Finally, she suggests that you “soothe the pain as if it is a child who has never had a kind word or a soft caress.” Become aware if you are resisting being kind to your pain.
  • Imagining pain’s form. Using the principles of art therapy, Shockley found that “images, symbols, and metaphors that emerged were very revealing and helpful.” She suggests that what emerges could offer insight into your pain. She suggests starting by working with paints. Sit quietly and settle for a few breaths and then consider your history with your pain. Imagine the form of your “pain story” and begin to paint from your pain. Again, being non-judgmental about what comes out is important, “especially if it’s dark and messy.”

At other moments in our time we are called to be either a follower or leader, daily. At times our expertise, opinions can call us into command as no one can lead entirely. This is a form of Leadership.
























Inclusion includes uniqueness and belonging.
Uniqueness- Standing out of the crowd being recognized for whats distinct about you.
Belonging- Being accepted as part of the crowd, regardless off your differences.
Inclusion happens when people's needs are met- uniqueness and belonging.

Inclusion happens when you value both differences and the commonalities of others.

Leadership is not complicated but there are some hard to see challenges that we all face. Unconscious Biases-

            • Unconscious bias
            • Otherness

The first follower with any movement is the most important role as they will show everyone else how to follow.

As people join- a movement happens as the public starts to notice or join in. People don't emulate the leaders but the followers.

The more people join the less risk it seems to others and nurturing your first few followers as equals benefits a lot.

Leadership can be over glorified but the first few followers can make the biggest differences.

If everyone was a leader - leadership would be ineffective.

Starting a movement may include many things but those things that stand out to me is courage to follow and show others how to follow.

Another Form of Leadership I


I am studying different things getting my brain wrinkly for next month going back to college. So, I decided to study about Leadership as this will benefit me at work and College. So what did I learn?

An Inclusive Leader= an Successful leader

Inclusion is wonderful aspect that I never really thought about. It benefits everyone, really it does. Inclusion is the action/state of being included, or including others in groups and structures.  An inclusion is when you value differences and commonalities of others.

When people feel included there is a correlation of people being a team player and innovation.

Being inclusive allows you to show your distinct parts about you; what makes you different. The parts that make you unique; standing out from a crowd and being recognized for what you bring in the table.
Being similar is also part of belongingness- do not stand out to much that you are alone.
Being a leader is about fitting into a group as well as having the guts to stand out and handling critics.

Flowers


This is a meditation to use when you are struggling whether from illness or losing a loved one. This meditation will be best if you can find some flowers. You can pick the flower or buy one. Put it in a vase that when you are meditating the flower will be eye level to you.
This meditation will provide calming energies during time of stress. Encourage one to heal and provide comfort in time of sorrow.
Many flowers have different meanings and by such I will give a few examples:
Daffodil symbolizes the resurrection of Christ
Violets of the Virgin Mary also in some text violets represent as a sign of Mohammed teachings.  Along with Persephone as she was in a field of violets in some myths before being kidnapped by hades.
Flowers are fragile but they captivity the masses they can inspire the imagination, show affection and heal. Flowers can be a wonderful tool for meditations.


The actual Meditation of Flowers:
Sit in a chair or cushion and take a few deep breaths and set aside any worries or distractions focus on the flower in the vase and empty your mind and breath normally.
Now once you have settled your mind look at the flower and notice its beauty and scent, visualize the perfume filling your body and healing any illnesses or health problems. If you are grieving for a loved one, let your tears flow and allow the flower essence soothe you.
End the meditation when you are calm and breathing deep and normal.

July Update

WEEK ONE

Good Morning Folks.


It is Canada Day. I am not in Canada but very close to it.

Anyways, I have planned out the next nine days for me(Mostly chores). And I have to say this month has a lot going on. The Full moon is done and like many of us we fine this time to relax but it is not sadly the case.
Things seem to be getting serious. I am waiting on e-mails constantly this summer for work and school. We have two classes coming up at work and school starts in august and I still do not have all my textbooks. Need 300$ for them. Not including notebooks and supplies.

This current phase we are in life will give us increased respobilities. Take time and enjoy some laughs it will help us handle our stressors.

NoMo folks that are Leo's this current part in your life is a great chance to express yourself; this includes dreams and wishes.


WEEK TWO

So I am planning out this week and it seems busy. Bills to pay, mouth's to feed nothing in this world ever seems to give me a break. But I did enjoy it very much of the past week events. Fourth of July( I slept through the fireworks).

I enjoyed playing chess with my partner. We played a little Skyrim and had a heat wave hit us during the middle of the week. Then July 7, 2018 was a picnic and I spent a little of my time picking berries.

So what is the plan for this week?

I plan to make 8 more post this month on Leadership methods and practices. I am hoping everyone is enjoying the expansion of knowledge. Along with that I plan to go to a yoga class, call college on some errors. I have a session at work on Wednesday and a Going away party at work Friday.

As previously mentioned I had need 300$ for college but I am now rocking it out with 180$ left to spend for college- but not including notebooks and supplies.

MidSommar

This is from a Modern Swedish tradition from one of the many books I am trying to read. From the book it states that Midsommar is just as important to them as is Christmas. It barely gets dark on this day. Many communities celebrate by having parties all day and this can go from dancing around a midsommarstang- alike to the Mayday pole to traditional Swedish songs.

And food is like a feast for thanksgiving most famous are pickled herring and potatoes along with spirits. Along with cakes and cookies. The most famous for sweets is a bowl full of strawberries with whipped cream. And if the person has time they would make jordgubbstartaa type of Strawberry cake.

Summer Solstice



This is the time of the year the night is the shortest and the day is the longest.  I recognize the Solstice on the 21 of June. However, many do not always fall under the same belief. It can range from the 20th to 25th.
The 20th falls under the first quarter moon as well as enters Libra.  This is also the last day in western astrology for the Sun to be under the sign of Gemini.
The 21st begins the Sun sign of Cancer.
The 22nd starts the moon sign of Scorpio.
Finally, the 25th starts the Moon sign of Sagittarius.
The Solstice is under influence of many things one of those things is Fairies. If you are interested in gaining aspects of what to expect from faeries; I will be happy to share more information on them in the future. However, I suggest reading into a Shakespeare’s classic.


During the Solstice time any herbs collected are said to have stronger abilities especially those with association of the Sun or Fire.
One of the best and simplest method of enjoy the solstice is ritual bath.  Create a chant or mantra to cleanse you on the morning rays of the sun in the bath or safe natural water source like lakes, oceans and rivers.

NoMo Update 17-23

Hello Folks,

It is a wonderful day. I am almost done taking my medication and after a few days of detoxing; I hope to be able to do readings again. Currently have two people waiting for a reading so. They will be given shortly.


HOW TO GET A READING!!!
Now for those who would like a reading; as I am sure many of you are aware. I no longer give free readings. However, they do not cost currency for this month. Instead for a reading I request that you have three people like my page and send me a message on Facebook stating that you were referenced by  them to my page. After this I will be offering the reading to the person they referred.

SESSIONS
So this Wednesday(June 20, 2018), I will start sessions on chakras and meditation. If you are interested in learning either or both; message me on Facebook. Next week I will go into details what the sessions will have for the upcoming month.

So, for this week I am not as busy as last week but I will be trying to go to my college and seeing about getting a few things done. I will be filing for health insurance and next month will be going to a session on my health insurance provider.

Fathers Day is today. I will be wishing my father in law a great day and offering Loki something sweet.

Summer Solstice is this week. I will try to make a post on it in the near future!

Otherwise, I am currently on the fourth Harry Potter book and reading the Financial Diet.

NoMo Update


For this week we carry onto a very active week along with inactive sessions due to an illness I have. I am currently taking antibiotics and will be better within the week, hopefully.

I have two meetings on the same day this week one during lunch with other local organizations on mental health and a meeting at my work place. Currently due to actions of the state I am living we are looking at perhaps a 30% cut in our budget due to state cuts into mental health. This is terrible has it hampers my progress to further my education and adds stress to everyone in the facilities.

Tuesday is National Peanut butter cookie day. I hope to make a small blog post on it and then Wednesday we have the New Moon which is also a super moon even if you cannot see it.

Along this week I will attempt on getting a loan for college and hope to start purchasing college books. I may change classes if I cannot get the loan as it will be cheaper and I will have to save up; hopefully I can.

E3 is happening this week and I look forward to possible new games that I may enjoy in the future.

I am almost done with the third book of Harry Potter on chapter ‘Owl Post again’.

Today Is National Iced Tea Day



Water is the most popular drink after that is Tea. Iced tea has been around since the nineteenth century.  About 85% of the tea drank in the United States is Iced.
Today I have made a half gallon batch with green and black tea leaves along with lemon and organic sugar.
When the United States was under Prohibition, Iced Tea became very popular.

In a few days in the Norse Calender I am excited to say that Friday June 8, 2018 is a remembrance day for me.

Skerpla is the current month in the Modern Norse calender. It is the second month of Summer.

So this Friday is the 21st day of Skerpla  is the day that Viking era started in the year of 793.

As three ships raided Isle of Lindisfrane.

Pathwalking experience


I had a success today with Pathwalking to Jotunhiem today. Though doing this was not very easy as it has been and I required assistance from the entity I work with.

What is Pathwalking?
I know this is perhaps the first time me mentioning an event of myself with doing such an activity. Pathwalking is a practice where one is able to travel from one realm to another. The common way and easiest way is perhaps by leaving the body behind and letting one soul or self-go and travel.
I have known I could pathwalk when I was a teenager but when I did. I did it in not a safe manner and have because some worry to my partner during the time as my heart beat would go slower and body would go cold and limp. I could easily shift from being in this current state of mind and shift and leave my physical body to explore the vast worlds around me. But during my early years I did not have direction and was rather enjoying the feeling of not being tired to such a shell that I was in. This is one of the reasons I always request my Entity I work with to stay with me. So I do not lose direction nor stay to long that it may cause issues to my psychical form.
Anyways this was early experiences and I have had far better ones after those dark days in my practice. I am able to work and see Gods in their realms. Though I do favor one realm over all others; Jotunhiem. This is where my entity lives at; at least as far as I know.

So the day before the Full Moon I decided before I seek refuge in sleep I would cast myself out and see if I can reach out to the entity I work with and speak to them. As previously my attempts have been harsh and chaotic in reaching them. They tend to always have my back but if I do not keep a healthy connection with them. It can be hard to keep contact; alike to keeping in contact with a family member. If I was unable to reach them due to not keeping a healthy social interaction it may be hard for one or both sides to return to the state they were. It has been a few months since my interactions with them but I have received messages from them as of late of ‘Getting off my lazy bum and doing things that need to get done.’ Always lovely feeling of having the one you work with feel like a parent at times as the request for you to clean up your act. No one is perfect and we all lack motivation at times.
Well anyways, I was able to have a solid connection with them and being greeted by them filled me with such peace and serenity; that I enjoyed my time with them to a rather large extent.

Yin Breathing

This exercise is very relaxing.

Sit down and rest your right elbow on a table.

Put your right index finger on your forehead,

Between your eyes.

Then close your right nostril with your right thumb and inhale until your chest is full,

Then exhale just slowly until all the air has gone.

Now release your right nostril and close your left one,

Using your right middle finger.

Breathe in and out again slowly.

Repeat this 5 times.

Mantra
There is a mantra that is known to induce sleep; it may be worth a try.
Try repeating Om Agasthi Shahina (Om Ah-gah-stee Shah-ee-nah).

Affirmations
Try not to force yourself to sleep if it is not coming instead of try affirmations such as
Feng Shui

Feng Shui ideals and goals are to give natural flow of energy; remove clutter and digital devices and cover monitors, television with dark clothes, having stuff under the bed is not good as it resembles baggage. 

Aromatherapy





Chakra 101 Part B

I am trying to introduce you to bio- energies. Unlike energies you learn in
 Chemistry or Physics. Such as kinetic, Magnetic, Solar, etc. I will be trying
my best to explain these bio energies. By using the term of Auras. The main
 origin of Chakras is in India.

Chakras are fundamental ways to figure out healing and yourself and your
elements. I will be sharing ways to do so by colours, crystals, Sound, and a
Number of other ways including Yoga.

This is for Beginners, Healers, and Practitioners.

I will also share some other Chakras that are not based on the major seven
 Chakras. Such as the Earth star and Casual Chakra. The Chakras as a whole
are placed within other traditions not just Hinduism and in Yoga. Such as the
Kabbalah, Sufism, Inca, taoism, Mayan, Teaching, and Shamanism.

The energies that are extrnal called Elctromagnetic energy field is commonly
called The Aura. An Aura is in some definations a rainbow of light surrounding
the body. In many beliefs Everything has an aura from living beings to
 in-animated objects. There are people who have a very sensitive sight or
feeling on these bio energies/Auras. Some people say your aura stays the same
others say it is consantly changing. I myself believe taht they change on our
moods. Also this constant change is not just caused by emotions but as well
as your health and spiritual self/development.

Okay well I am going to try to explain an aura by using a rainbow. Now a
Rainbow is always infront of us and teh sun is behind us. Right? Red, orange,
yellow, green, blue, indigo, and Violet. I like to call those colours
ROY G BIV. Since no two people can be in the same exact place and same time,
 each person see's a slightly different rainbow. In the same way we see
peoples auras differently. We each have our own perspective in the bio
energies/Auras

How do you/I precieve an Human Aura?

Seeing an Arua we have as children or we achieve it through intense spiritual discpline. Like a rainbow. And arua is made of drops of energy(if you do not understand that google it). Our bio-energies are made by vibrations which if yuou can not see but feel. This is what you are feeling. The virbrations off an aura. I personal feel an arua but do not see them but I can guess the colour it is by the way it feels. but anyways different fequences through the bio energies cause different energy light.

When looking or feeling bio energies. Many of us probably could see auras when we were young but due to teh fact as we grow up we are told it is not possibel to do so. And we needed to stop saying we could or such. Also the same that fairies and angels we could nto see cause they are not real.

But for those few who kept it seem to excel at seeing auras. Like myself. And thankfully there are ways to teach people how to see auras. Thanks to some help from my great grandmother. I suggest to try to feel the enrgies from trees. Tree's have a large energy field. Try to look beyond the tree without straining your eyes.

There is also another way to do this. Ask a friend to go back 3 metere(ten feet), away from you in a dim light.Again look beyond them. No exceptions.

A Blue print

Like our body has organs. the Bio energy has organs called chakras. Chakras are pusling of swirling energywith a particular colour. The spirial of each chakra narrows as it nears teh physical body. The major seven are hooked to teh spine.

Chakras sends information to the aura which is how most of the people who read auras by feeling get their information.

The Aura is a blue print of the body and the chakras are a blue print of the aura. They also hodl information of past pain and traumas. These effect our emotions and our health and regualte our human behavior.
This lesson so far will be talking about the scientific outlook of the chakras/aura. As well as the rest of the lesson is on The auras in history and The Light Spectrum.

Scientists can measure the subtle energy close to our skin, is often seen in dim light conditions as a fine golden colour around a person. As even a finer field of energy, the Human aura extends outwards, sometimes as far as 30 feet in faster and higher chakras, access by the chakras. Mysterious teaching usually assign this energy field a number of layers, each of which corresponds with colour and a quality. These colours progress through the aura like those of the light spectrum, from red to violet.

The Aura in History

Through out the ages people have been aware of the human energy field. In diverse cultures world wide from ancient egypt to Greece and from their to China to India and again to Persia and the Americans.In Hindu tradition it was called Prana, in China Chi. Where in Ancient Greece Pythagoras wrote Vital Energy being perceived as a Luminious body. And for Gypsy's it is called Zee.

During the 1930's to 1950's....scientific research by Dr. Wilhem reich enabled healers to show not only the existance of the auric field, but also its correlation with chakras, as intense energy vortices within it.

Many researchers now agree that the human energy field an energy matrix upon which physical cells grow. this means that the energy exists before the physical body. they have shown that disturbances in the auric field eventually manifest as a disease in the physical bodymeaning that healing Any imbalnce in the aura will assit the body to resist illness.
Bad thing is this is only 3 1/2 of my lessons I still have about 30 more for just the basics.

The light spectrum

As humans we exist within the 49th octave of vibration of the electromagnetic light spectrum.

Below it is very unnoticable from the heat of our bodies then invisble infared, tv and radio waves. This goes on to other electromagnetic light spectrum.

Our auric field and subtle energies are coloured by our personaly strengths/weakness, health/sickness, happiness/sadness, love/hate and the degree we are commune to our spiritual practice.

I list the layers from the one closes to the body to the one taht is furtherest from it at the end.

Etheric Body- Often seen as a red colour. This energy feild is often associated with how we feel things as we touch them . This goes from the five sense's. if someones Etheric body or energy field is strong that means they are physically healthy.(Phsyical)

Emotional Body- This colour is often seen as A bright vibrant orange. This one is hard for some for those who have a lot of baggage. If you have emotional issues in a negative stand point it is often dirty looking and cloudy. If it is not and your second layer is bright and vibrant you will find your aura is healthy to this level. Which is from being truely happy.(Physical)

Mental Body- This one is yellow usually. If you live actively and such in the real world and retional this colour remains vibrant. other times it is very dim or murky. (Physical)

Higher mental Body- Green often but differnt shades depending on the person. (Anyone seeing a connection with these colours?) This one is strongly attachted to your heart chakra. this body of energy is what allows you to merge with others from animals to people it is what helps you create a sense of love. (Astral)

Spiritual Body- Often a shade of blue. This is often seen as divine will and is often associated with the first level the etheric body and acts some what like it.(Spiritual)

Casual Body- Often seen deep blue if healthy. This is often seen as the where we have had our expoeriences with theh spirit world. It is what helps influence as well as causes such things in our lives. (Spiritual)

Ketheric Body- Purple is teh common colour if healthy. Also called our trueself.This has teh connection to our higher true. Our Higher self and Our super sub-conciouness. (Spiritual)

The Sun opposes Jupiter and this can cause us to question our boundaries or press to much onto others. You may tell a co-worker something a little private that you may regret saying. It could be the opposite as well. Not sharing enough information - like your partner.
Jupiter is under the Scorpio Sign and is in Retrograde till July 10, 2018.

Today is a good day to tell others what you have been bottling up just try not to hurt anyone's feelings.

This can cause some hidden truthes that we have about ourselves to show up. Such as needs you have not been allowing yourself or seeing how you manipulate yourself. This is rather amusing as for my Mantra for this week is 'Stop Hiding'.
Awareness is the first step in making changes.  Do not let these hidden truthes destroy you but instead rise from them.

Mercury enters Taurus and allows us to take a break from our thoughts.  Our minds have been going craxy under Aries and Taurus is allowing us to take a break in our communications. Mercury will be under Taurus till May 29.

This is a good time to try yoga, meditation. Clean off your alter and redo it. As communications with your Entities you work with may find easier time communicating with you.

Take time and think how you want to spend the rest of the year. Be pratical- value is a huge factor under Taurus. 

Chakras 101 Part A

When studying chakras you will find yourself looking into a deep subject that breaks off into many areas from the ideals of subtle energies.
Chakras have been used in relations to therapies and other ways the affect the mind, body and spirit.

What is Subtle Energies?

If you ever study more into pyshical sciences you will learn we are not just phsyical beings we are made up of energy.
Electromagnetic fields that flow and interact with things around us.
in Vedas the ideals are spiraling energies called Chakras in Sanskrit they are known as 'wheels of light'.

What are Chakras?

Chakras- Also known for Wheels of light; pulsating centers of subtle energies in the luminous auric energy fields.

There are seven main chakras and countless millions of smaller ones that interact with the body. Giving off energies to our body, mind and spirit; with chakras when balanced and kept healthy we can learn to keep the good energy and filter out the negative energy. often times illnesses are associated with Chakras and other pieces around Veda idealism and practices.


Vedas- Also known in common English as knowledge; they are a collective terms and ideals  from Hindu scriptures, written in Sanskrit and comprising of  four parts- Rig, Sama, Yajur and Atharva Vedas.

Taurus in the Sun

So it is May and we have a few weeks left under the sunwith Taurus. This is an Earth Sign that can help us in many ways. This Zodiac Sign is known for being Practical and great with coming up with a plan to do things. Even if our sign is not a Taurus we can obviously use the energy it gives off during this time of the year.
Go for the things you want in life. Make a plan. Figure out how to get the plan going and keep moving forward. What is in motion stays in Motion.
Do you know what you want? Yes? No?
If no... Please understand that if we have spent most of our time for others and not ourselves we may not know what we want. So maybe meditate on things you think you want.. Not for others but yourself. Taurus is usually one who looks out for themselves then others.
Try to be careful with its energies as it can cause a selfish rampage.

Allergies Are a Nightmare

Achooo! Achoooo! I keep sneezing and my noise always feels tickled or stuffed it is miserable.

From Science they have found many people are suffering more and more with allergies due to... Drum Roll please.

CLIMATE CHANGE!


Hay Fever is often followed with the following symptoms: runny nose, itchy eyes, sneezing, and sinus pain.

One of the believed reasons for allergies is poor gut health which can cause impaired immune function and leaky gut.

High inflammatory diet are a huge factor in this such as processed grains, refied oils, sugar and dairy.

Many people have come across taking supplements like prebiotitics and probiotics, changing your diet, and using essential oils can help with reversing hay fever though most people go or the antihistamines, nasal sprays and so forth. (I AM NOT A DOCTOR)

If you do not fix the root cause of your allergies no amount of lavender or peppermint will cure you.

So work on healing your gut, eat anti-inflammatory foods and we can try to work on this together. I currently, can not follow on this but once my budget allows I will share the experiences with you and how much it cost. I live in Alaska so it is a high price here.

Caraway and peppermint  oil is an  effective blend to soothe inflammation throughout the entire body.

Potion:
Caraway and peppermint by mixing two drops of each with one teaspoon of unrefined coconut oil and apply on the back of your neck and chest

Essential oil blend to diffuse for seasonal allergies.
Ingredients:
3 drops frankincense sacra essential oil
2 drops Australian sandalwood essential oil
1 drop ravensara essential oil

4 Small Steps


2018 is over a quarter over and nearly half way done.

How many of us set up Goals to support our physical health- such as losing weight, going to the gym, trying a new diet?

Often the Physical aspects of our goals overshadow our mental and emotional health.  Our Physical health may help our other states of health but shouldn’t we also take time to focus on all aspects of ourselves not just the one we see when we look in the mirror.

This is where a simple concept comes in ‘’Self Care’’

Gut health:
Your Gut is your second brain many people are learning the reactions the gut has on the brain and vice versa.
One of the best ways to do this is taking care of the guts microbiome with probiotics. By taking care of the gut it can help with your emotions as the bacteria in the gut influence our moods as well as reduce anxiety and decrease stress.
By taking care of your gut you can help balance hormones and also assist with absorbing more nutrients from what you consume. It also helps reduce inflammation in the body and possibly mood disorders.
Ways to take care of the Gut:
Whole Food Diet
High Plant Based Diet.
Probiotic supplement
Also Fermented drinks and Food (EX: Miso/Kombucha)
Skin Care:
This might be an off one but taking care of your skin and seeing what happens to it can show signs of mental health and other things. I was having an hormone imbalance and the first trigger I could see of it was :
  •    I had hair growing on my chin not like beard or anything just a constant few hairs that I had to pick at every few days.
  • I had most of my pimples in the same area.
So I googled what might be the issue. Told my Doctor  and they told me I was possibly right and to take a few supplements and since then my hair picking habit has gone from every three days to every other week and I only get pimples now once a month for a week.
So for skin care tips:
Read the labels of the products you use for your skin- the more simple, pure and cleaner it is the better it is for you.  But do not toss what you have just replace it once it goes empty with something that is better for you.

Aromatherapy
You can try to use oils or use candles or just cook something you enjoy the smell of like cookies. The scents we smell can impact our emotions.  Things we smell often can trigger emotions and therefore if we use this knowledge we can improve our mental health.
Look into oils that help with stress such as Lavender.

Practice Mindfulness
Being mindful can help with sleep, blood pressure, and boost the immunity.
To do this can be a simple step such as reading books on mindfulness or practice meditation.
Those who have read my daily goal I have started using an app and it has helped me with Focusing at work and on this Blog and giving me some Motivation as well as Mindfulness.
The app is called Simple HabitOther ideas could be trying soft martial arts or Yoga.

New Moon with Aries

♈The past few weeks since the Full Moon(Blue Moon/Libra), has been one that has caused me to take steps back and look at my life… okay I did not do this every day since the Full Moon- who has the Motivation for that?

Perhaps instead of looking at what is going on I just crippled with anxiety and stress. Mercury was in Retrograde and was sure doing a fine Job before the Full Moon of Fudging the Car which I did not give enough credit to. For causing my Anxiety to hit some high peaks at random due to this and other external factors…

A few days ago I almost spent 350$ on some bikes and bike supplies(Items need to ride the bike at night and a tool kit for if something happens) but all of  the sudden we went and tried to seek the holy grail of what my Mother suggested and you know what we found it and instead of spending over 300$ on bikes we spent 10$ *Cough*(Not to mention the 100$ the weekend of the Full Moon of flushing the car out)  and the car has been running smoothly.

Thanks for the Motivation, Mom.

On top of that the last Full Moon is also given to spark interest in changing the lifestyle and I did. I tried to do a meal plan from a magazine called Clean Eating where it was a lot of salmon and carrots in it. The meal plan lasted for a day. The next morning I wanted a Peanut butter sandwich not carrot cake oatmeal (Nor did I have the Motivation to cook it).

This New Moon is under Aries and it is also the same sign as Mercury, the Sun, and Uranus; for today. 

Let the Fire of Aries destroy all that is wicked in my life. 

 I hope the Ram is not as lazy as me… If it is a new candle might be just enough to do it.  I kind of expect Aries to be slow due to Mercury…

I also hope its impulsive nature does not burn any bridges that I need.

The New Moon is the start of the lunar month.

Anyways, the New Moon is all about ending and beginning of things. Usually the New Moon is a good time to change, start or change something.  This is also a time to see what is not working as The double solar and lunar effect from the Aries sign will offer a different type of perspective to what has kept us stuck. 

But Aries can cause us to feel like we are under a whirlwind of chaotic energy but this energy may offer us new inspiration. This can be a good time to bring stuff that we want out of the world from within us; as well as a time to focus on our selves.

Aries is the ‘I am’ sign

Aries is all about taking action to get things done… Aries is calling upon us asking us what are we willing to risk in order to have what we want; to move forward?

Today is the first day of No-Mo. I feel this is my ability to use the energy offered by the New Moon.  I know change can be hard but maybe this New Moon will give me Motivation.
Anything you try during this New Moon Week with sow yourself for a possible bountiful harvest for  Septembers Full Moon which will be under Aries.

If lacking Motivation try an Aries Mantra:
“I am Strong, I am Powerful, I am Capable, and I am Fierce. I can do this. “

I could write down a New Moon Ritual to help with breaking old habits involving candles, taking a cleansing bath, use incense that are associated to Aries(Cedar wood, Juniper, Cinnamon, and any really that you care for).  Then use a chant and hope that night is clear. Which you are kind of SOL when living on an island rainforest!


So New Moon plans-
Take a bath with Epsom salt.
Do a reading with my tarot or oracle cards.
Video Games
Do my daily goals.
Then work.

Work with Crystals for the Crown Chakra or Aries.
Essential Oils for aromatherapy ( Sandalwood, Chamomile, or Lemongrass)
